Processing and Memory
The BL460c Gen8 supports up to two Intel Xeon E5-2600 or E5-2600 v2 processors, with up to 12 cores per processor and clock speeds to 3.5GHz. Memory capacity extends to 512GB across 16 DIMM slots, supporting RDIMM, LRDIMM and UDIMM configurations with HPE SmartMemory technology.
Graphics and Storage
Storage includes up to two hot-plug SFF SAS, SATA or SSD drives, managed by the HPE Smart Array P220i controller with 512MB FBWC. Dual PCIe 3.0 expansion slots support type A and B mezzanine cards, enabling flexible networking with dual and quad-port options.
Management and Virtualisation
iLO 4 provides comprehensive remote management, while HPE OneView enables centralised administration. The server supports various virtualisation platforms with hardware-assisted features and optional trusted platform module. The c3000 enclosure fits up to eight half-height blades, while the c7000 accommodates up to 16 half-height configurations.
